I'm currenty under commission to Leeds Playhouse to write a show I can't announce yet, but it's a lot of fun to work on and I'm looking forward to being able to share it with Leeds in 2023! In recent years I have become known for being a working class voice telling stories with a strong emphasis on social context. I'm often described as a punk playwright, and not only because of the way I dress or my coloured hair. I'm very proud to be a Supported Artist at Bradford's creation hub Theatre in the Mill. We create high quality theatre which is engaging, authentic, thought provoking and above all, relevant. We aim to amplify those voices which are often not heard.
Over the past three years we have wowed audiences with our shows Sid, Kicked in the Shitter, and the Chechnya Plays.
We'll be developing a new work throughout 2019, and we have some great things in the pipeline.
